Description
This HPVGSET version 2.3 standalone diagnostic for the HP 10 and 10/100vg
LAN Adapters fixes several minor issues with prior versions, corrects
some help file and documentation errors, and consolidates the HPVGSET
menu-driven diagnostic instructions with the HPDDSET command line configuration
program instructions. This update applies to the following adapters: HP
J2573A 10/100vg ISA LAN Adapter, HP J2577A 10/100vg EISA LAN Adapter,
HP J2585A 10/100vg PCI LAN Adapter, HP J2585B 10/100vg PCI LAN Adapter,
HP J2970A 10BaseT/2 PCI LAN Adapter, and HP J2973A 10BaseT PCI LAN Adapter.
Installation Instructions: HPVGSET runs under DOS or Win95/98 Safe Mode
Command Prompt, and does not require "Installation" in any operating system.
HPVGSET is best run from a DOS-only boot floppy. See HPVGSET.TXT for more
information.
