Description
This release of the NDIS 4.0 driver version 4.04 for the HP 10/100vg
PCI LAN Adapters is to fix performance problems encountered with the IPX/SPX
protocol stacks and Netware Servers. NDIS 3.1 drivers in Win95OSR2, Win98,
and NT 4.0 may be replaced by this NDIS 4.0 driver. This update applies
to the following adapters: HP J2585A 10/100vg PCI LAN Adapter, HP J2585B
10/100vg PCI LAN Adapter, HP J2970A 10BaseT/2 PCI LAN Adapter, and HP
J2973A 10BaseT PCI LAN Adapter. Note the HP J2573A 10/100vg ISA LAN Adapters
and J2577A 10/100vg EISA LAN Adapters are not affected by these performance
problems. Replacement of their drivers by this distribution is not supported.
Installation Instructions: Refer to the nt4.txt and win98.txt files that
are part of this zipped file for installation instructions on the NT 4.0
and Windows 98 platforms.
