Manage your Windows NT/2000 storage solution easily and reliably — and with a single solution — with high availability tools like Auto Path XP. XP management tools enable dynamic allocation of storage, zero downtime backup of all your Windows data, and seamless integration into OpenView or other IT management tools. XP supports a broad range of server and host adapter vendors, including Compaq, Dell and IBM, Agilent, QLogic and Emulex to enable consolidation of Windows environments across the entire enterprise. Support for these third-party servers is also available from HP, via a single point of contact.

HP's family of XP Disk Arrays were originally developed for HP-UX system environments, ensuring full platform compatibility and interoperability. The XP Arrays are fully integrated into MC/Service Guard, HP's server cluster software. For extending clusters over metropolitan distances Continuous Access XP works seamlessly with HP Metrocluster. And even greater distances are provided with Continuous Access XP Extended and HP Continental Clusters. The XP Disk Array family is an integral part of HP's 5nines: 5minutes program — an end-to-end high availability program that provides 99.999% uptime.

The HP StorageWorks Disk Array XP family delivers the most scalable, highest performing, highest availability, and easiest to manage storage solution for the enterprise. These storage solutions are now available for Linux. This includes SAN infrastructure support, integration into enterprise management tools, heterogeneous server consolidation, and the consulting and support services to meet XP requirements for always-on e-business.

» Solaris value solutions

XP arrays provide a complete solution for the Solaris environment. This includes support for the SPARC/Solaris product line using PCI and SBus adapters from Sun and JNI. Solutions for high availability using Sun Cluster or Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) are available, including HP's Cluster Extension (CLX) for VCS. This enables VCS clusters to be reliably extended over metropolitan distances providing protection from local disasters. HP's Zero Downtime Backup Solution is also available for Veritas Netbackup, allowing backup with no compromises to data availability.

» AIX value solutions

For IBM e-server pSeries and RS/6000 servers, the XP arrays also provide a complete solution for the AIX environment. Solutions for high availability using IBM's HACMP cluster software are fully supported and certified on the XP Disk Arrays. HP's Cluster Extension XP (CLX) for AIX enables HACMP clusters to be reliably extended over metropolitan distances providing protection from local disasters. Auto Path XP offers transparent load balancing for AIX systems, automatically routing around failed paths for improved availability and performance.
