1 This split cable connects to the SAS adapter internal port and splits into two with the 3x split connecting internally to the SAS Hard Drive Cage and the 1x split connecting externally to the HP StorageWorks SAS External Tape Drive or Rack-Mount Kit. Requires additional PCI slot on server for threading 1x split cable externally to SAS tape.
