The HP 9000 rp4410
has a suitable SCSI channel (external channel B only) for connecting the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader
under the following conditions. When the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader
is connected to external SCSI port B the server must be configured in Simplex mode and have no other non-tape devices attached on the same channel (refer to server manual for details on Simplex mode). If this channel is not available for tape-only connect please use one of the following compatible adapters:
