Compatible Controllers, Host Bus Adapters and Switches:

The HP 9000 rp4440 has a suitable SCSI channel (external channel B only) for connecting the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader under the following conditions. When the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader is connected to external SCSI port B the server must be configured in Simplex mode and have no other non-tape devices attached on the same channel (refer to server manual for details on Simplex mode). If this channel is not available for tape-only connect please use one of the following compatible HBAs:

A7173A - HP Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI PCI-X HBA
AB290A - HP Dual Channel PCI-X SCSI Ultra320 & Gigabit Ethernet combo card
A6829A - HP Dual Channel Ultra3 SCSI HBA (HP-UX) (Retired)
A6828A - HP Single Channel Ultra3 SCSI HBA (HP-UX) (Retired)
