The HP 9000 rp3410
has a suitable external SCSI channel for connecting the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader
under the following conditions:
- When the HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader
is connected to the external SCSI port no other non-tape device should be attached and hard disk slot ID2 must be left unused.
- A 68-pin HD connector to 68-pin HD connector SCSI cable must be used. The recommended part for this configuration is the HP C2979B - SCSI cable, HDTS68, M/M, 1.5m (59in).
