As the entry point for HP's Ultrium tape drive family, the HP StorageWorks Ultrium 232 tape drive offers superdrive capacity in a compact half-height form factor. The Ultrium 232 provides an ideal solution for server backup where capacity and low cost of ownership are critical. It stores 200 GB of compressed data on a single tape at up to 115 GB/hr (assuming 2:1 data compression) and offers exclusive HP features such as dynamic data rate matching and One-Button Disaster Recovery.

Compatible Controllers, Host Bus Adapters and Switches:

The HP ProLiant ML150 G5 does not have a suitable integrated SCSI controller for connecting the HP StorageWorks Ultrium 232 SCSI . Please use one of the following compatible HBAs:

1  This adapter requires that the latest system BIOS update for the HP ProLiant ML150 G5 be applied prior to installation. The necessary update file is available at the HP Support page.

Note: Please ensure HP Ultra320 SCSI Adapter and SAS HBA with RAID Driver for NetWare version 4.01 or higher is used if using a compatible HP Ultra320 SCSI adapter.  » HP Support Page
