The HP StorageWorks SDLT 600 Tape Drive provides superdrive capacity and performance, meeting the needs of customers with growing amounts of data and not enough time for backup. The SDLT 600 drive is a second-generation SDLT drive, providing a capacity of 600 GB (assuming 2:1 data compression) and a speed of 259 GB per hour (compressed). The drive utilizes Super DLTtape II media and is backward read-compatible with SDLT 320 and DLT VS160 media.

Compatible Controllers, Host Bus Adapters and Switches:

The HP ProLiant ML150 G5 does not have a suitable integrated SCSI controller for connecting the HP StorageWorks SDLT 600 . Please use one of the following compatible HBAs:

1  This adapter requires that the latest system BIOS update for the HP ProLiant ML150 G5 be applied prior to installation. The necessary update file is available at the HP Support page.

Note: Please ensure HP Ultra320 SCSI Adapter and SAS HBA with RAID Driver for NetWare version 4.01 or higher is used if using a compatible HP Ultra320 SCSI adapter.  » HP Support Page
