Internal Tape Drive Option:

Q1573A - HP StorageWorks DAT 160 SCSI Internal Tape Drive

The internal tape drive is supported only in the internal disk enclosure version of the HP AlphaServer DS10.

Rack-Mount Drive Option:

    • A7445B - HP StorageWorks 1U Rack-Mount Kit accommodates up to two internal half-height drives. Use standard internal tape drive to configure:
    • Q1573A - HP StorageWorks DAT 160 SCSI Internal Tape Drive
  • 3U Rack-Mount Kit [link to QuickSpec]
    • 274338-B22 - HP StorageWorks 3U Rack-Mount Kit Accommodates up to four internal half-height drives or two full-height drives. Use standard internal tape drive to configure:
    • Q1573A - HP StorageWorks DAT 160 SCSI Internal Tape Drive

Compatible Controllers & Host Bus Adapters:

The HP AlphaServer DS10 does not have a suitable embedded SCSI channel for connecting the HP StorageWorks DAT 160 SCSI. One of the following HBAs must be used:

3X-KZPEA-DB - 64-Bit/66-MHz Dual channel wide Ultra3 SCSI HBA
3X-KZPCA-AA - 32-Bit/33-MHz Single channel wide Ultra2 SCSI HBA
