Q1522B - HP StorageWorks DAT 72 SCSI Internal Tape Drive
The internal tape drive is supported only in the internal disk enclosure version of the HP AlphaServer DS10.
Q1529A - HP StorageWorks DAT 72 SCSI Hot-Plug Tape Drive
The hot-plug tape drive model is only supported internally in the HP AlphaServer DS10 if using the front-access model. Hot-plug tape drives are also supported in the:

The HP AlphaServer DS10 does not have a suitable embedded SCSI channel for connecting the HP StorageWorks DAT 72 SCSI. One of the following HBAs must be used:
3X-KZPEA-DB - 64-Bit/66-MHz Dual channel wide Ultra3 SCSI HBA
3X-KZPCA-AA - 32-Bit/33-MHz Single channel wide Ultra2 SCSI HBA
