D2D2500 Backup System

The HP StorageWorks D2D2500 Backup System provides automated and consolidated backup for up to 6 servers in a rack mount IT environment. Feature-rich, the HP D2D2500 Backup System includes a useable storage capacity of 2.25TB, iSCSI network connectivity for backup and restore over your existing IT infrastructure, and HP's Dynamic Deduplication technology.

Supported Environment
iSCSI Network Connectivity
The HP StorageWorks D2D2500 Backup System plugs right into your existing Ethernet network and SAN environments through its built-in iSCSI interface and supports:
  • 1000BASE-T Ethernet (Gigabit Ethernet, GbE) - Recommended
  • 100BASE-T Ethernet (100 Mbps Ethernet) - Supported

Additionally, if a hardware iSCSI initiator is required, HP recommends the following add-in adapter, which has been fully tested and is supported by HP:
