Shane Robison, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Technology Officer - U.S.-Russia Growth Opportunities

HP opened the High Tech Solution Center in Moscow, Russia April 26, 2005. The center focuses on developing, testing and demonstrating integrated IT solutions. The HP High Tech Solution Center enables Russian companies to both learn from the experiences of international companies and share their own expertise and solutions, for example in the oil and gas industry where Russia has vast and unique expertise. HP has been operating in Russia for over 4 decades, and the opening of the center in Moscow marks the beginning of the next era in the partnership between Russia and HP.

The center will also be a virtual gateway to the rest of the HP Solution Centers across the globe, all dedicated to working with key partners to help bring leading edge solutions to customers- solutions that solve business problems, help customers adapt to global change, and thereby benefit the local economy and its citizens.

The goal of the center is to provide quality, flexible, high impact services that help customers reduce their solution risk, cost and time to market while maximizing their overall solution ROI. In addition to demonstrating HP products and solutions the center provides services such as Industry Forums, Executive Briefing Conferences, and training seminars, across all HP products and solutions with a core competency area in oil and gas.
