Overview


Integrity Integrated Lights Out (iLO 2) Management Processor Functionalityfor sx2000-based servers is provided by Lights-Out remote management port with both HP9000 command line interface and new iLO 2 web GUI interface.

  • iLO 2 standard features are part of the iLO 2 management processor.
  • iLO 2 Advanced Features are added with optional PCI card per managed partition (option AD307A). No additional Advanced Pack licensing is required.

Restrictions
  • Supported only in PCI-X Mode 1 slots.  On PCI-X backplanes, these are slots 0-4, 7-11.  On PCI-X/PCIe backplanes, these are slots 0-1, 8-11.
  • On Windows partition, the card must be installed in slot 0.
  • For all systems, a maximum of one card can be installed in each hard partition (nPAR)
  • Card cannot be used in systems without iLO 2 management processor firmware installed.
