The HP Officejet Pro Black & White series printers and e-All-in-Ones offer businesses laser-like black text-only printing at low running cost. Available in select countries.

HP Officejet printers and all-in-ones are similar to the HP Officejet Pro line, with a few differences that make them just right for home offices, smaller offices and businesses. Professional quality, low-cost documents, increased energy savings

HP Officejet Pro X-series

HP Officejet Pro X-series printer and MFPs utilize HP PageWide technology to produce professional-quality color at up to twice the speed and half the cost per page of color lasers, The cost per page claims are based on the majority of color laser MFPs costing less than $1,000 USD and color laser printers less than $800 USD as of March 2012, based on market share as reported by IDC as of Q1 2012. ISO yield is based on continuous printing in default mode. CPP comparisons for laser supplies are based on published specifications of the manufacturers’ highest-capacity cartridges. Cost-per-page calculations are based on HP 970XL/971XL ink cartridges' estimated street price.

Use up to 50% less energy than color lasers with ENERGY STAR® qualified HP Officjet Pro X-series printers and MFPs designed with the environment in mind. This energy savings claim compares the majority of color laser printers less than $800 USD and color laser MFPs less than $1000 as of August 2012. Energy use is based on HP and HP commissioned third-party testing. The actual cost and energy usage may vary.

HP Officejet Pro

HP Officejet Pro products are compatible with high-capacity ink cartridges for low-cost printing—without sacrificing quality. When using HP Officejet ink cartridges, you can print professional color documents for up to 50% less cost per page (cpp) and energy use than color laser printers and all-in-ones. The cpp claims are based, as of September 2012, on the majority of color laser all-in-ones costing less than $600 and color laser printers costing less than $300, based on market share as reported by IDC as of Q4 2010. The cpp comparisons for laser supplies are based on published specifications of the manufacturers' highest-capacity cartridges available, as reported by Gap Intelligence. HP Officejet Pro cpp based on HP 950/951XL Officejet Ink Cartridges, estimated street price, published yield for color prints, and continuous printing. HP Officejet

Select HP Officejet all-in-ones help reduce the energy it takes to print documents with impressive color quality. When using HP Officejet high-capacity ink cartridges, you can print professional color documents for up to 40% less energy use than lasers. By using less power than competing laser products, HP Officejet all-in-ones offer you a more innovative printing solution.

Energy-savings claims are based on the majority of color laser printers costing less than $300, as of September 2012. Energy use is based on HP testing. Actual energy usage may vary.

HP Officejet products also offer you an easy way to save up to 40% on energy. With the Schedule On and Schedule Off feature, you can preset your HP Officejet device to turn on and off, increasing energy savings. This energy-savings calculation assumes that the device is scheduled to be off for 12 hours per weekday and 48 hours per weekend. The reduction in energy use is compared with a typical daily usage model determined by the EPA ENERGY STAR® program's TEC method, which assumes that devices remain in "sleep" mode overnight and on the weekend.

Page yield is based on ISO/IEC 24711 or HP testing methodology and continuous printing, and depends on the individual cartridge and printer. Actual results may vary.

To use this feature, you'll need a wireless access point and an Internet connection to the printer. Access to apps varies by region, language, and agreements, and services require registration.

HP Officejet Pro and HP Officejet printers and all-in-ones feature HP Smart Print, which makes it easy to print only the content you need from the web and get usable web pages without cut-off edges. This feature supports Microsoft® Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0, as well as Firefox versions 3.5 through 5.01.

This lasting image quality is based on paper industry predictions for acid-free papers and Original HP inks. HP ePrint mobile printing at public mobile print locations requires an Internet connection to the printer and works with any Internet- and email-capable smartphone or tablet with separately purchased wireless Internet service, and the HP ePrint mobile app or HP ePrint software. HP ePrint-enabled products are also compatible with Apple® AirPrint™. Simply print wirelessly from your iPad®, iPhone®, or iPod touch®.

AirPrint™ Supports OS X® Lion, OS X® Mountain Lion and the following devices running iOS 4.2 or later: iPad® (all models), iPhone® (3GS or later) and iPod touch® (third generation or later). Works with HP's AirPrint-enabled printers and requires the printer be connected to the same network as your OS X or iOS device. Wireless performance is dependent upon physical environment and distance from the access point. HP Auto-On/Auto-Off Technology senses when you need to print and when you don't, turning your printer on and off automatically so you don't have to. HP Auto-On/Auto-Off capabilities are subject to printer and settings.

HP Officejet Pro e-all-in-ones make it even easier to scan at the workplace. You can scan to a variety of network folders—or even to any email address—directly from the touchscreen. This feature is available only when you have an Ethernet or wireless network connection. This feature is not available through USB connections.

Fax capability

With the junk fax blocker, you don't even have to waste time handling unwanted faxes. The junk fax blocker requires caller ID service, which is not included. Also, select HP Officejet Pro and Officejet products are equipped with a feature that enables paperless sending and archiving of faxes. With PC Fax Send, you can easily send faxes, plus save incoming faxes directly to your PC. You can also save scanned materials to a PC, network folder, or email.
