Wireless printing and networking

HP is the leader in wireless printing. HP Photosmart printers and all-in-ones make it easy to share your printer on a network and print freely from virtually anywhere in the house without cable clutter. You can print from wireless-enabled notebooks, PCs, PDAs, and more. Some HP Photosmart products provide an easy, one-button wireless setup, which requires a WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) router with an integrated push button. If you have an iPhone® or iPod touch®, you can print 4 x 6-inch photos to a WiFi networked printer, using HP iPrint Photo. Go to the Apple® App Store to receive a free download. Wireless performance depends on the physical environment and distance from the access point, and wireless operations are compatible only with 2.4 GHz routers. Learn more about wireless printing and networking.

Also, you can print and send photos directly to select HP Photosmart e-all-in-ones. Simply access an intuitive website for a list of available HP mobile printing applications, and you'll be able to wirelessly print directly from a variety of compatible mobile devices. Some HP Photosmart all-in-ones allow you to print directly from a PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™). With this feature, you can keep record-breaking scores from your PS3 and display them as proof of achievements. Printing of screen captures is available only on games that support this feature.

Select HP Photosmart compact photo printers also make it easy for you to print from anywhere using your Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phone. To take advantage of this feature, your mobile phone must have a Bluetooth "Send," "Print," or equivalent feature.

Print from virtually anywhere

Why wait when you can ePrint? With HP ePrint, now you can print from virtually anywhere. There's no need to wait until later to print emails, photos, and everyday documents on the go.

Using this feature requires an Internet connection to the printer. This feature works with any connected Internet- and email-capable device. Actual print times may vary. HP ePrint-enabled products are also compatible with Apple® AirPrint™. Simply print wirelessly from your iPad®, iPhone®, or iPod touch®.

AirPrint is supported on devices running iOS 4.2, including iPad, iPad® 2, iPhone (3GS or later), and iPod touch (3rd generation or later). This feature works with HP's AirPrint-enabled printers and requires the printer to be connected to the same network as your iOS device. Wireless performance depends on the physical environment and distance from the access point. AirPrint, the AirPrint Logo, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

Affordable printing

HP Photosmart products offer many options for more affordable printing. Many printers and all-in-ones include individual inks, allowing you to replace only the cartridges that need replacing. HP Photo Value Packs conveniently bundle the right ink with the right photo paper so you can print lab-quality photos at home for less than it costs to buy the ink and paper separately. Plus, many HP Photosmart products are compatible with high-capacity cartridges for fewer cartridge changes and more affordable printing, including up to three times more black and up to two and a half times more color printed pages compared with standard ink cartridges. High-capacity cartridges are not included but can be purchased separately. Page yield is based on ISO/IEC 24711 or HP testing methodology and continuous printing, and depends on the individual cartridge and printer. Actual results may vary. Effortless web printing

HP Photosmart products feature color displays or touchscreens that connect you directly to the Internet, so you can print what you want from the web without turning on your PC. When you connect to free apps from a touchscreen, you can get time-saving access to your favorite web printings, including coupons, recipes, greeting cards, Sudoku puzzles, printing maps, boarding passes, movie tickets, and photos. One HP Photosmart product, the HP Photosmart eStation, features a wireless touchscreen, so you can carry the power of complete connectivity from room to room or place to place. Browse the web, and then simply send the content you want to your printer. This feature is perfect for producing coupons, maps, or even menus. To use this feature, you'll need a wireless access point and an Internet connection to the printer. The menus on the wireless touchscreen are in English or English-and-French only. Using the same wireless touchscreen, you can also browse the latest e-book bestsellers or even old favorites. The HP Quick Forms app, available on select HP Photosmart all-in-ones, connects you to fun and useful templates without having to turn on your PC. HP Photosmart products are designed to provide the same stunning color and image clarity you'd expect from a photo processing lab, especially when using the recommended Original HP ink and paper combinations. In addition, HP Photosmart printers and all-in-ones give you high-resolution photos, many with up to 4800 x 1200-optimized dpi when printing from a computer on select photo papers, and 1200-input dpi. High-quality scans

With HP Photosmart all-in-ones, you can scan photos and documents and easily reprint photos or create a digital archive. Use HP scanning technology to restore old photos and enhance faded color. Many HP Photosmart all-in-ones provide high-quality scans with 4800 x 4800 dpi resolution to capture fine details. When producing scans at maximum resolution, you may be limited by PC system factors and the size of your original.

HP Photosmart all-in-ones with HP's industry-leading 96-bit, 6-color scanning technology offer you superior color accuracy and true-to-life scan quality. Exclusive to HP, this scanning technology detects an increased range of color. When it is used together with high resolutions, you get realistic photo reproductions and 3-D scans with superior color accuracy.

Photo archiving

HP Photosmart printers and all-in-ones with a built-in CD/DVD burner and LightScribe technology make it easy to compile a personalized digital library of all your photos, music, and videos. Burn your data to a disc right from a memory card or a PC, and then simply flip the disc over and etch a silkscreen-quality label directly onto the disc, using LightScribe technology. This feature uses only HP LightScribe CDs and DVDs, so be sure to purchase them separately.

HP Photosmart products also provide you with another easy way to customize your CDs and DVDs. Using the CD/DVD printing feature, you can print photos, text, and graphics directly onto printable CD/DVD media. Printable CD/DVD media are required, so be sure to purchase these supplies separately.

Fax capability

Get even more versatility with HP Photosmart all-in-ones with fax capability. Conveniently send color and black-and-white faxes right from your home, with or without a PC. Some HP Photosmart all-in-ones even have the capacity for two distinctive ringtones to help you instantly distinguish between incoming calls and faxes. This feature requires the additional purchase of a distinctive ring service from your local phone company.

Select HP Photosmart printers are equipped with an eFax® feature, which means you can send a fax without having to use a phone line. This web-based fax service requires an Internet connection to the printer, as well as registration with a third-party service. Convenient recycling, responsible manufacturing

Since 1991, the HP Planet Partners return and recycling program has provided customers with a simple way to recycle Original HP supplies. In fact, more than 210 million HP ink cartridges have been recycled.

Get convenient recycling—cartridges that are returned through HP Planet Partners are recycled responsibly. The HP cartridge return and recycling program is available in more than 50 countries and territories. You can even request return envelopes and bulk collection boxes to help you responsibly recycle. One selected HP consumer product enables you to reduce your environmental impact by using the planet's only PVC-free printer. This claim is based on available products as of August 2011. The HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One is polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-free, and meets the evolving definition of "PVC-free" set forth in the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI) "Position Statement on the 'Definition of Low-Halogen Electronics (BFR-/CFR-/PVC-free).'" The plastic parts in the HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One contain less than 1,000 ppm (0.1%) of chlorine, if the source of the chlorine is from CFRs, PVC, or PVC copolymers. Please be aware that in India, Korea, and China, this product has a power cord that is not PVC-free. Also, some limited geographic areas require that you use a USB cable with the HP Envy 110 e-All-in-One—this cable is not PVC free.
