HP Software License Trade-in and Transfer Policy

HP's Software License Trade-in and Transfer policies are designed to centralize license trade-in practices for HP-UX, MPE/iX, Tru64 UNIX and OpenVMS platforms. The policies are critical to our customers during their transition to Itanium® servers, as well as HP 9000 servers and will help customers retain their software license value.

HP permits single or multiple software licenses to be traded-in for another license or license(s) for the equivalent product, on the Target (new) System.
