MPE/iX Release 7.5 PowerPatch 3
MPE/iX 7.5 PowerPatch 3 for the HP e3000 became available in July 2006.

MPE/iX 7.5 PowerPatch 3 is a proactive patch-set that includes defect repairs to improve the capabilities and supportability of MPE/iX 7.5. This patch-set helps customers maximize the value of their current HP e3000 environments as they manage their transitions off the HP e3000 platform.

End of Support Date
While HP support for MPE/iX 6.0 ended October 31, 2002, HP will support MPE/iX releases 6.5, 7.0, and 7.5 through December 31, 2010.

Please note that although MPE/iX 6.5 and 7.0 are supported through 2010, customers who are developing plans for their HP e3000 environment into the future may find it beneficial to upgrade to MPE/iX 7.5. This later release contain changes and improvements - defect repair, Native Fibre Channel support for A/N-Class servers, performance and capacity enhancements for high-end systems, and bundled tools for using the HP e3000 with the Internet - that are not all available on earlier releases.
