Since 1992, you have relied on Alpha Systems to run your organization. HP ceased accepting orders for new Alpha Systems after April 27, 2007. At this point, you have several options: continue
operating your systems, add more capacity until April 25, 2008, or transition to HP Integrity systems.
The Alpha RetainTrust (ART) program provides guidance to help you choose the best option and the resources, tools and services to make it successful.
HP Integrity servers are the natural next step for owners of Alpha Systems. Starting with the Intel® Itanium® 2 microprocessor, HP Integrity servers deliver strong performance to handle your
most demanding workloads, and provide the flexibility, resilience, and longevity required for growing data centers. Their powerful partitioning, virtualization and workload management capabilities
maximize resources and meet stringent service level objectives.
HP offers owners of Alpha Systems a five-stage Transition Life Cycle framework that leverages proven methods and tools for all the phases of the process to move to Integrity or other HP Enterprise
systems: Awareness, Planning, Design, Implementation, and Management.

» Excellent products - The final generation of AlphaServer delivers strong performance whether you're upgrading a single system or consolidating
older systems. And, when your business needs require, you can easily transition to HP Integrity Server, an excellent server platform that addresses a broad workload spectrum and provides increased
flexibility, reliability, and security.
» Strong partner support - HP is working with ISVs to provide continued, ongoing support for their applications on AlphaServer, and to ensure
your smooth transition to Integrity server. OpenVMS ISV partners are enthusiastically porting their applications to Integrity server and continuing to make new releases available on AlphaServer.
Tru64 UNIX ISV partners are providing a lengthy overlap period of continued support of their current releases and are actively porting their applications to HP-UX 11i on Integrity server. Key
applications are now available on Integrity server on both OpenVMS & HP-UX 11i.
» Extensive services and tools - Transition planning, design and implementation tools and services help minimize disruption and cost while
adding business value to your IT environment. These tools help you size the effort involved in moving from your current AlphaServers to HP Integrity servers and leverage the experience of many
customers who have already done so.
