The Five Phases of the Transition Process: Awareness

apdim awareness
  (Awareness) (Plan) (Design) (Implement) (Manage)
During the Awareness phase, you'll identify the business benefits of transitioning to Integrity servers. Take a look at your IT infrastructure from financial, operational and functional perspectives. Which areas need improvement? What is the most cost-effective solution to achieve these improvements?

Four major transition approaches (not mutually exclusive) are available:

  • Integrate Integrity servers into your existing AlphaServer infrastructure.
  • Consolidate multiple systems onto fewer servers to reduce TCO - either on Integrity servers or AlphaServers.
  • Replace existing AlphaServers without re-architecting the solution stack (those applications that comprise your solution environment).
  • Re-architect your solution environment and install it on Integrity server.
