Free HP Software:
For these printers, in a DOS or UNIX environment, a free software solution is available. This solution will download the Euro symbol in 25 different typefaces to your printer. The readme file gives instructions on how to set the software to re-download the fonts each time the PC is turned on or rebooted. Please see the README.txt file for installation instructions.

Third Party Hardware:
For users who desire a hardware solution, a low-cost external flash-based device is available from a third-party. This solution will download the Euro symbol in 25 different typefaces to your printer. The device will download the fonts each time the printer is power cycled.
