An HP Learner ID is your key to the world of HP partner learning and certification. This ID is required to register for any exams or when there is a need to move your personal partner learning history from a former employer to a present employer.

How do I obtain an HP Learner ID if I do not have one?
To acquire an HP Learner ID, follow these steps:
  1. Apply for access to your regional partner portal if you do not already have access
  2. Click on the "Train & certify" link on the left-hand navigation bar
  3. Click on the link provided and agree to the program Terms & Conditions

Please allow 3 business days to gain access to the "Train & certify" pages and to your HP Learner ID.

I have a previous ID. Can it be used as my HP Learner ID?
No, that ID is no longer valid. If you have a previous partner learning history or a previous certification history with HP and held an ID, your previous ID has likely been automatically transitioned to an HP Learner ID by adding the prefix "UV".
Previous ID: 00123456789
New ID: UV00123456789

Your previous ID without the prefix is no longer valid. All valid HP Learner IDs should begin with a "UV" (or in some cases, a "PL" prefix) followed by a series of numbers.

(Examples: PL70208823 or UV00123456789)

I already have an HP Learner ID, but I have forgotten it. How do I retrieve it?
To retrieve your HP Learner ID, log in to your regional partner portal and follow the following steps:
  1. Click on the "Train & certify" link on the left navigation bar
  2. Under the "Quick links" section, click on "Access The Learning Center" link
  3. Click on the "My profile" tab.
  4. Your HP Learner ID will be listed in the top section on the resulting page.

How does an HP employee get an HP Learner ID?
All individuals employed directly by Hewlett-Packard should pursue their learning and acquire certifications via Grow@HP. If you are directly employed by HP, please use your HP badge number as your HP Learner ID.
