Easy steps to access, navigate, achieve and succeed

Welcome to the North America (US and Canada) page of the HP Partner/Customer Assist Tool.

The Learning Center is your exclusive tool to access training and exams, and tracks your learning progress. Entry into The Learning Center is through the Train & certify link on the HP Partner Portal. Detailed directions on this one-time process are provided in Step 3.

Step 1: Obtaining a portal login

If you already have a portal login, please go to Step 2.

Click the link below for step-by-step instructions with actual screen shots of the portal pages. If at any time you need assistance with creating an HP Partner Portal login, click on "Contact HP" in the upper left area of the HP Partner Portal page.

Step 2: Locating your former Student ID

If you do not have prior class or exam completions, certifications and/or service qualifications that provide you benefits or status with HP or HP programs, please go to Step 3.

If you do have prior records you want to maintain, you will need to know your former Student ID to transfer your records to The Learning Center. If this applies to you and you know your former Student ID, please go to Step 3.

Otherwise, if you have records to transfer and do not know your former Student ID, please follow the directions at the following link.

Step 3: Accessing the Train & certify page

If you already have access to the Train & certify page, go to Step 4.

To gain access, you must accept the program Terms and conditions. For detailed instructions on Train & certify access:

Please allow three to five days to gain access to Train & certify, which is your access point to The Learning Center and other training programs.

Step 4: Accessing and navigating The Learning Center

After completing the three easy steps above, now you are ready to put The Learning Center to work for you! View the following tutorial for the best methods to search the learning catalog, enroll in a course or exam, launch web-based training on demand, and view your learning history.

Step 5: Recovering your previous learning history

If your history appears to be missing previous certifications, exams or courses, please click on the link below and follow the instructions:
