voluntary - polybags suffocation hazard warning symbols

Hewlett-Packard products do not require suffocation hazards labeling on polybag (plastic bags).

However, many of our products are going into the home environment where a polybag could become a hazard to the children of the household. Therefore, from a Citizenship perspective, we are recommending to our operations and manufacturing partners to use both symbols below on polybags which surround products that may go into the home environment. Specifications related to the usage of these symbols are:

1. minimum size on each symbol is a 2.0 inch diameter
2. symbols to be placed on bags with a surface of 6.0 x6.0 inches or larger
3. color: black
4. polybag mfg. to provide artwork
