GENEVA, Switzerland, 16 September, 2008 - Following the award-winning success of the HP IQ500 TouchSmart PC, HP will have you ringing in the holidays this Christmas with the newest member of its TouchSmart family, the HP IQ800 TouchSmart PC.

A sophisticated looking design featuring a seamless piano black gloss frame with elegant silver trim highlights ensures that the breathtakingly cool HP IQ800 is certain to add some sparkle to your living room, long after the Christmas lights are removed.

"Not only does the IQ800 enable a revolution in accessing photos, music and videos, it opens up a whole new world of interactivity," said Achim Kuttler, vice president and general manager, consumer products, Personal Systems Group, HP EMEA. "For any entertainment enthusiast looking for a new and unique immersive computing experience, the IQ800 is like magic at their fingertips."

Delivering a new level of home-theatre entertainment, the HP IQ800 TouchSmart PC features an impressive 25.5-inch full HD screen at 1900x1200 resolution, a Blu-ray drive, a hardware-encoded TV tuner, and an optional wall-mount kit. In conjunction with dedicated TouchSmart software, the HP IQ800 uses innovative optical touch screen technology to bring digital entertainment to your fingertips with direct screen interaction. This completely redefined computing experience makes you the maestro - with the fun and enjoyment of working with photos, music and videos as easy as a few flicks of your finger.
