What is my system doing, and why is it doing it? These questions are asked for purposes ranging from capacity planning, application development/debugging and benchmarking to general-purpose system monitoring and even crash analysis. Many analysis tools are available, and multiple tools are often required to diagnose even the simplest problems.

This seminar, designed for experienced Linux administrators, explores some of the more advanced Linux operating system tools. It reviews the use and configuration of the kdump tool, the performance information gathering tool collectl and other performance tools.

Offered: July 31, 2008 and September 11, 2008

To register: If you have an HP Proactive Software Support Contract, contact your HP Proactive Support Representative (ASC/ASM/TAM, RSAA, CE or other) and let them know you are interested in attending one of the Technical On-line Seminar presentations.
