The TOS Program provides HP proactive support customers the technical information they need, where they need it.
What is the TOS Program?
The Technical On-line Seminar (TOS) program is a method of delivering 4-hour, virtual, technical seminars to HP customers who are unable to leave their office to attend educational/training sessions or are unable to obtain travel funding.
What can I expect during a TOS presentation? (Does not apply to Short Take events.)
- Live presenters (no recordings)
- Approximately 3 ½ hours of technical information
- Both typed-in and live Q&A
- Topic materials complete with student notes in your choice of formats:
- Professional bound hardcopy, delivered to your home or office
- Downloadable .pdf document from a secure FTP site
Many topics in the program are developed by field Account Support Consultants who utilize the products/services on a daily basis at customer sites.
To attend a TOS delivery, you will need access to an Internet connection so that you can connect to the HP Virtual Training Room, and a telephone line for the audio content portion.
How do I register to attend a TOS delivery?
If you have an HP Proactive Software Support Contract, contact your HP Proactive Support Representative (ASC/ASM/TAM, RSAA, CE or other) and let them know you are interested in attending one of the Technical On-line Seminar presentations.
If you are interested in attending one of the free 1-hour Short Take events, click on the Short Take Events link at the right for self-registration.
How do I pay to attend a TOS presentation?
- HP's Proactive Support Contract customers can utilize their Account Team Days to attend a TOS event. Contact your HP Proactive Support Representative to learn more about this option.
- Non-Proactive Support customers can use HP Education credits to attend TOS events.
- All of the 1-hour Short Take events are free to all HP customers.
