HP is committed to supporting communities around the world who are in dire need after a natural disaster – for immediate relief, and in their longer term regeneration.

HP disaster relief can include financial support, donations of technology and the pro-bono services of HP experts, in technology and in program management, for instance. HP employees give an amazing response to crisis calls for volunteering, fundraising and cash donations – and the company will seek to match employee donations.

We work in partnership with the Hewlett-Packard Company Foundation, which often further financial assistance. For example, after the 2010 earthquake that struck Chile, HP organized a global fundraising program among our employees. The Foundation donated $250,000 and committed up to $250,000 to match eligible employee contributions. These funds supported relief organizations on the ground, including the American Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.
