Jan. 31, 2008 — HP today at PMA announced its strategy to enable customers – from home consumers to large corporations – to harness all of the rich media content that remains untapped. As part of this strategy, which will be led by the company’s newly formed Web Services and Software Business, HP unveiled several additions to its retail photo solutions lineup that are designed to empower consumers to personalize their photos and publish customized creative output, while helping retailers maintain peak efficiency.

Additionally, HP announced an agreement between Snapfish and retailer Staples that allows Snapfish users to order posters online to be printed in-store. The posters will be printed on HP Designjet printers and can be picked up the same day at any of Staples’ 1,400 “Copy and Printer Centers” nationwide.  Also, for creative professionals, HP expanded its media and solution portfolio designed to deliver improved image quality.
