HP is enabling users to make connections in new ways with ease. The new HP Enterprise Mobility Suite is aimed to ease deployments and management of mobile devices, giving businesses a comprehensive set of tools for effective device management, including over-the-air (OTA) mobile device initial setup, configuration, diagnostics and security. HP’s new prototype mscape software suite and consumer-facing website will enable people to design, create and share location-based experiences, games and tours with friends, family and others, anywhere in the world.

HP Debuts Mobile Device Management Software for Enterprises

 

May 9, 2007 – HP today introduced new software aimed to ease deployments and management of mobile devices in the enterprise. The HP Enterprise Mobility Suite allows customers to cost effectively launch advanced mobile services that are more secure and reliable. The solution is exceptionally well suited to satisfy enterprise requirements which demand a comprehensive suite of functionality including over-the-air mobile phone initial setup, configuration, diagnostics and security.

HP Enhances Video Experience for Mobile Users

 

May 9, 2007 – HP today announced new mobile software solutions that will help people use personalized video services to enliven their interactions with family, friends and social communities. The HP OpenCall Mobile Video Solutions portfolio includes three flexible, standards-based offerings that can be deployed in high-speed 3G networks. They enable people to send and receive video messages as easily as voice messages, create animated call response messages, and enjoy a wide range of video services, such as video blogging.

HP Unveils Do-it-yourself Toolkit to Create and Share Mobile, Interactive Experiences

 

May 9, 2007 – HP today announced a prototype software suite and website to enable people to design, create and share location-based experiences, games and tours with friends, family and others, anywhere in the world. The site makes available a new HP Labs technology, code-named “mscape,” that overlays digital sight, sounds and interactions on the physical world to create immersive and interactive experiences called mediascapes.
