Feb. 23, 2006 — In conjunction with the upcoming Photo Marketing Association (PMA) show, HP today announced its plans to disrupt the retail photo printing market by deploying the most advanced stand-alone, self-service photo kiosk, and the first and only in-store studio to chain stores nationwide. The company also announced a new professional photo printer featuring breakthrough print speeds, new HP Vivera pigment inks, digital fine art media, the world's glossiest CD/DVD labels and self-adhesive photo paper.

Feb. 23, 2006 — HP today marked its entrance into the retail photo-printing market with the introduction of a self-service photo kiosk and an in-store photo studio that will be rolled out in top-tier retail chains nationwide. Albertsons, Longs Drugs Stores and Bashas’ Supermarkets will be among the first to feature the photo-printing solutions at select stores.
