HP today announced it has signed a five-year, $73 million applications and infrastructure technology services agreement with Länsförsäkringar to help drive innovation and cost savings for the Sweden-based banking and insurance firm.
“By entrusting our technology services to HP, we can focus on delivering innovative insurance and financial services to our customers,” said Carin Göransson, chief information officer and chief operations officer at Länsförsäkringar AB. “Through our work together over the past five years, HP has established a reputation for exceptional service delivery and we look forward to this next phase of our relationship.”
Under the terms of the agreement, HP will continue to provide
server,
storage,
workplace and
applications management services. It also will provide comprehensive support of Länsförsäkringar’s environment, including customer relationship management software, as well as
HP ProLiant,
HP BladeSystem and
HP StorageWorks XP Disk Array technologies.
HP Financial Services, the company’s leasing and life cycle asset management services subsidiary, will provide leasing services. The technology services will be delivered from HP’s global delivery center in Bulgaria.
