Sara Lee Extends Contract with HP for Technology Operations

PALO ALTO, Calif., April 23, 2008

HP today announced that Sara Lee Corporation (NYSE: SLE) has renewed its infrastructure outsourcing services contract for additional seven years and has extended management of operations in 10 countries to more than 35.

The agreement will enable Sara Lee to increase its focus on improving operational efficiencies to drive innovation and cost savings.

As part of the new agreement, HP will supply Sara Lee with infrastructure outsourcing services, including central and local end-user support services. HP also will provide Sara Lee with data center and network services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America and Asia.

HP has been supporting Sara Lee’s technology infrastructure with associated services since December 2000, when the companies signed their original outsourcing services contract.
