HP Technology Forum to Feature Keynote Addresses by Ann Livermore and Shane Robison Conference to offer HP's most extensive venue for technical training, education, certification and networking on HP solutions PALO ALTO, Calif., June 14, 2005HP today announced that Ann Livermore, executive vice president, Technology Solutions Group, and Shane Robison, executive vice president and chief strategy and technology officer, will deliver the keynote presentations at the inaugural HP Technology Forum 2005. This conference, which will be held in the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from Sept. 12 - 15, will be HP's largest technical training venue and product solution showcase in North America. Technical users will be able to network and learn about the latest HP technologies and services that can help their businesses become Adaptive Enterprises able to synchronize business and IT to capitalize on change. The four-day event will provide innovative technical training, education and certification across the full spectrum of HP products and solutions, including content designed for small and mid-size companies and channel partners as part of the HP Smart Office program, which aims to simplify the IT process through smart advice, smart technology and smart support. A broad base of HP customers, partners and employees are expected to attend, including systems integrators, value-added resellers, independent software vendor partners, user groups and the HP Certified Professional community. Produced by HP in cooperation with participating independent HP user groups, the forum will offer more than 400 solution- and segment-oriented technical training and breakout sessions, more than 200 hands-on workshops and a 12,000-sq.-ft. demonstration area to enhance the learning experience. The program also will allow access to HP executives, providing attendees with opportunities to ask questions, share ideas and participate in one-on-one meetings. Additionally, HP's Certified Professional community will be hosting its annual technical training meeting and certification-testing program at the forum. More than 38,000 HP Certified Professionals in the Americas will be invited to participate, share their knowledge and learn side by side with HP customers. HP also announced that the 2006 HP Technology Forum has been scheduled for Sept. 17 - 22, 2006, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
