HP and OPNET Accelerate Delivery of Mobile Services for Telefónica Móviles España New integrated offering enhances configuration and performance management PALO ALTO, Calif. and BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 11, 2005HP and OPNET Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPNT) today announced that Telefónica Móviles España, S.A. - the leading telecommunications operator in the Spanish market - has selected a combined solution from the companies to forecast the impact and accelerate the delivery of new mobile services. Telefónica Móviles will use HP OpenView operational management solutions and OPNET's SP Guru software to rapidly design and deploy advanced services over a new Multi-protocol Label Switching/Internet Protocol network in Spain. The companies also announced an expanded line of HP-certified offerings that enhance configuration and performance management capabilities of system and network resources. These expanded solutions were showcased last month in Madrid at HP Software Universe, where OPNET received the HP OpenView Solution Alliance Achiever's Award. The award recognized OPNET for joint business success resulting from its product suite integration with HP's Infrastructure Management and Application Management Solutions.
