HP Announces Winners of Fifth Annual HP OpenView Crystal Awards

HP channel partners recognized for outstanding customer implementations of HP OpenView software

At the company's Channel Connections Conference here this week, HP awarded 10 channel partners with HP OpenView Crystal Awards in recognition of their successful solutions and deployments that included the HP OpenView suite of management software.

The 2003 winners were awarded top implementation honors in categories such as network and Web application management, Windows®-based solutions, service-desk solutions and IT service management solutions.

"As HP OpenView partners develop management solutions for customers looking to build adaptive enterprises, they are faced with an array of complex issues such as legacy system integrations, Internet and intranet management and adhering to company standards," said David Petts, vice president, Americas Software Organization, HP. "Today's Crystal Award winners demonstrated outstanding capabilities for successfully overcoming these barriers through training, focus and solution expertise."

Winners were chosen by a panel of HP OpenView experts based on their ability to:

• exhibit technical excellence in a solution;
• demonstrate leadership in finding and closing customer deals; and
• showcase customer successes while focusing on the solution.

The 2003 award categories and winners are:

• Best Implementation by a Latin American Partner – Anida Consultores Ltda
• Best Implementation by a Canadian Partner – RealIT Management, Inc.
• Best Network Management Solution – Forsythe Solutions Group, Inc.
• Best Web Application Management Solution – International Integrated Solutions
• Best Windows-centric Solution – Melillo Consulting, Inc.
• Best Application Management Solution – Melillo Consulting, Inc. and Systems Technology Associates, Inc. (co-winners)
• Best Integrated Service Desk Solution – Pepperweed Consulting LLC
• Best IT Service Management Solution – Lilien Systems
• Best Overall Implementation – PCD Solutions, Inc.
