HP Unveils Redesigned Web Site HP.com Extends Customer-centric Focus to the Online Experience PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 5, 2002HP (NYSE:HPQ) today unveiled its redesigned Web site, http://www.hp.com, featuring a simpler graphic layout and customer-specific sections that take users to information about relevant HP products and services with fewer clicks. In addition, HP.com now delivers dynamic content via rolling "billboards" for each audience segment, providing quick access to customized information, events and promotions relevant to every type of user. The new design is based on global customer research and Web analytics to help users do what they want to do efficiently and effectively. The site debuts today in the United States and migrates to other countries throughout the first half of 2003. "HP.com is the global window into everything about the company, so not only have we redesigned the Web site, we're giving our customers something extra -- a more positive, rewarding and efficient experience with HP online, every time," said Marius Haas, worldwide vice president of eBusiness at HP.
