HP Rolls Out Global Business-to-business Web Site with Advanced Features for Commercial Customers PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 9, 2002 HP (NYSE: HPQ) today initiated the global rollout of its newly integrated and customized Web site for commercial customers, HP.com Business to Business. By combining the strengths of the pre-merger Compaq and HP B2B Web sites, the new HP provides an efficient, industry-leading eBusiness resource with all the tools customers need from one quick, easy-to-access site. The start of this deployment in the United States is a key component of HP's eBusiness strategy following its merger with Compaq: supporting the entire eBusiness customer life cycle from evaluation to purchasing to support. "HP.com Business to Business allows customers to efficiently manage their eBusiness relationship with HP," said Marius Haas, worldwide vice president of eBusiness at HP. "This Web tool enables customers to collaborate with their HP account teams and partners online in order to streamline and control their e-commerce activity through services such as global order tracking, reporting and support.
