Compaq Targets Telco Central Office with New NEBS-Certified AlphaServer Systems (Advisory)

The AlphaServer™ TS40 and AlphaServer TS20 combine Compaq's powerful industry-standard Alpha technology with support for both signal processing software, such as Compaq's own IN7, and voice processing software such as Dialogic DM3.

The new AlphaServer Telecom Servers (TS) provide a significant price/performance breakthrough, delivering very high performance at prices that are half the competition.

Targeted at telecom carriers, service providers, software vendors and value-added resellers, these systems offer the advanced features needed to handle a variety of applications, including: intelligent call routing, network-based call centers, call accounting, caller ID, Internet access, and multimedia messaging.
