HP Expands Mobile HP Bazaar Fuels Development of Mobile e-Services to Help People Live Life in Motion TORONTO, April 4, 2001 Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HWP) today expanded the worldwide HP Mobile e-Services Bazaar program with the opening of a facility in Toronto, the implementation of new mobility solutions in conjunction with HP Bazaar participants and the addition of 38 members. The HP Bazaar acts as a catalyst for the creation of mobile e-services by providing an environment for its 400 plus members to incubate new ideas, strategies and technologies. The HP Bazaar aims to proliferate mobile e-services that are automatically customized and delivered to the appliances of people on the go in any wired or wireless environment. "For people to have a meaningful experience using mobile technologies, all the elements need to function in a holistic way," said Ann Livermore, president, HP Services, at the opening in Toronto. "The HP Bazaar helps line up those elements and provides members with both a physical and a virtual environment to create and develop new mobile solutions." HP has signed 38 new members to join the HP Bazaar's roster of more than 400 participants worldwide. The new members include 3Com Corporation, A4 Media, Agis, Aldata Oyj, AVM Informatique, Celetratris, Corechange, Cypoint Systems Innovation AB, DoOnGo, EHPT, End2End, Forowap SA, Gadgetspace, Hotsip, Hotline Soccer, Ionicfic Ltd., Inexbee, iWAP, Object/FX, Obvious Solutions (Global) Ltd., PointForce, MobileQ, Nortel Networks, NoWire, Rixxo, RoamInfo, Securesoft, Softtracks, Stocksmart, Syslore, Swapcom, U.S. Wireless, Varetis Germany, Ventrada, Voice Genie, Voice Q, XcelleNet and Zinilin.
