HP Solidifies Storage Management Software Offerings

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 10, 2001


Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) today announced the consolidation of its storage management software products, including those offered by its Network Storage Solutions Organization (NSSO) and OpenView Business Unit, furthering HP's commitment to deliver open, scalable networked storage management for an always-on Internet infrastructure.

With the integration of NSSO and HP OpenView storage management software development and marketing resources, HP strengthens its leadership position in delivering the most comprehensive level of management and integration of storage software and devices, such as direct attached and network attached storage devices, SAN devices, device management, backup and HSM software, and network and systems management products.
