HP Reduces Prices on Its Family of HP Netserver Systems

More Value to HP Netserver Customers with Price Cuts Up to 23%

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 26, 2000

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) today announced that it has reduced prices from 5% to 23% on most HP Netserver systems. Thanks to lower component costs and continuously improving supply chain efficiencies, HP is passing on savings to customers by dropping prices up to 23% on its Netserver systems product line.

"HP again proves its commitment to customers by delivering high-quality, Netserver products with the best value, highest system availability, scalability, and reliability," said Marc Jourlait, director, HP Netserver Business, North America. "Through these price reductions, HP is demonstrating again the aggressive stance it will continue to take in the PC server market."
