Imagetag's Kwiktag E Linked to Hewlett-Packard Customers

HP e-Services Web Site Provides Customers with Direct Access To Internet-based Paper Management System

PHOENIX and PALO ALTO, Calif., October 23, 2000

ImageTag Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) announced today that HP customers can now access ImageTag's KwikTag E™, which enables easy and secure filing, retrieval and distribution of paper documents on the Internet. One of a series of sales efforts that is part of the ImageTag and HP alliance, directs HP customers to product information and enables them to purchase two of the KwikTag E application drawers: My RecordsSM and My BusinessSM.

Launched today, KwikTag E (www.kwiktag.com) transforms paper into digital files in three quick steps. First, the user enters document filing instructions into the KwikTag Web site. Second, the user attaches a bar-coded Post-it eFlag®, created by 3M exclusively for use with the KwikTag system, to the first page of the document to link it to its filing instructions. Finally, a stack of tagged documents is faxed into the system at the user's convenience through a toll-free telephone number for automatic filing into a structured and secure network file cabinet. The KwikTag paper management system is easy to implement and use because it leverages existing office resources, blends with the way people use paper and requires no hardware or software installation.

HP customers can purchase two of KwikTag's drawers: My Records or My Business. The drawers are available for $44.95 a year, which includes 70 Post-It® eFlags and 200 pages of storage. A monthly subscription that includes 20 Post-It® eLabels and 200 pages of storage for $4.95 per month can also purchased. Customers can buy additional storage if required. The My Records drawer stores common types of personal documents, including tax, family and medical records, employer benefits, investments and warranties. The My Business drawer stores documents associated with a home-based business, including invoices, purchase orders, statements/bills, contracts, expenses and meeting notes.
