On October 8, 2005, a devastating 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck South Asia. Hundreds of thousands of individuals and families in the region near the Pakistan-India border have been left homeless. Relief agencies are working urgently to provide food, water, shelter and medical care to survivors. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the victims in the affected area, and to their families throughout the world.
Due to the magnitude of this crisis, and to assist with earthquake disaster relief, HP will match employees’ contributions, dollar for dollar, through November 1, 2005, up to a total company match of $250,000 (U.S.).
