The goal of the Mission: Project Management (MPM) team is to provide teachers and students with a set of resources to help them plan and implement their projects.

Drawing upon the project-planning experience of Hewlett-Packard employees and the teaching experience of high school teachers from Roseville, California, the team has created a simple set of tools to help student teams and individuals meet their project goals.

The documentation includes:

  • Welcome Letter
  • Overviews for Teachers and Students
  • Lesson Plans for each Phase of the MPM curriculum
  • Blank Forms for the Students for each Phase
  • Two Sample Projects using the forms
  • Glossary of Terms

The documentation is available here (PDF, 140KB). This file requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader available from Adobe's website.

One teacher performed a research project to measure the effectiveness of the MPM curriculum, discovering positive results in all areas. Her final summary can be found in PDF format here (PDF, 92KB).

For questions, comments or suggestions regarding this curriculum, please email the Mission: Project Management team using this form (select Mission Project Management from drop-down menu).
