In an outsourced environment, HP acknowledges the challenges of assuring conformance. We are committed to ensuring conformance with HP’s Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (HP’s EICC) and General Specification for the Environment (GSE). We are striving to have our overall supply base adhere to world-class social and environmental practices.
We include social and environmental conformance clauses in our procurement contracts.
Consistent with the above mentioned processes, Suppliers doing business with HP represent and warrant that they will comply with the contractual and social and environmental requirements expected by HP by doing the following:
- comply with all national and other applicable laws and regulations and require their suppliers to do the same (including labor agencies)
- read and understand HP's Supply Chain Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy
- meet expectations in
HP's Electronic Industry Code of Conduct
- when applicable, follow HP's environmental specifications and requirements in
HP's General Specification for Environment Suppliers representing the greatest risk to HP further represent and warrant that they will
do the following if requested by HP:
- review and sign
HP's Supplier Social and Environmental Responsibility Agreement
- complete the
Information and Communications Technology Supplier Self-Assessment Questionnaire
- obtain HP's review and feedback of the ICT Supplier Self-Assessment Questionnaire and create an improvement plan with defined timeline and metrics
- participate in periodic onsite audits
- provide clear and accurate reporting to HP

Instructions: Print the questionnaire for review and preparation and then complete and submit the questionnaire online using the EICC internet database – “Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains (E-TASC)”.
