HP's Brand Licensing Program invites companies with innovative and exciting solutions to share in the power, prestige and pull of the HP brand. We are looking for unique, customized and specialty opportunities to enhance the HP customer experience. To qualify, potential brand licensees must demonstrate that:
- the HP brand enhances the value of the licensee's offering.
- the licensee's offering enhances the value of the HP brand.

As an HP brand or trademark licensee, your company benefits from the brand recognition and reputation of HP. HP brand licensees typically enjoy greater sales velocity, higher margins, access to new customers broader sales channels, and a strong customer preference for their products and services.
Brand licensees also benefit from HP's innovation experience and know-how. HP works with licensees to certify products, validate customer demand, and refine business plans. Our knowledge and insight into customer preferences, buying habits, and channels of distribution help ensure business results for you and a favorable brand experience for our customers. While each brand licensing arrangement is different, regular joint business reviews provide a forum for sharing best practices, generating new project ideas, implementing any needed improvements, and ensuring that our business teams working effectively together.

The benefits of being an HP brand licensee come with commensurate responsibilities. Each brand licensee is entrusted to not just honor the integrity of the HP brand, but maintain and build upon the value of the HP brand. HP takes the brand promise it makes to its customers and the communities in which we operate seriously, and demands that our licensees do the same. Brand licensing arrangements typically require an upfront payment, minimum royalty commitment, approved business plan, agreed-upon business metrics, and customary indemnification and insurance provisions. Both parties monitor the licensee's performance on an ongoing basis to ensure that the licensee's business execution is consistent with the standards of the HP brand.
