The HP PhotoSmart PC photography system was the first designed for home users. It included a photo printer, a photo scanner, a digital camera, photo paper and image-editing software.

The HP PhotoSmart system was the first PC photography system designed for home users. It included a photo printer, a photo scanner, a digital camera, photo paper and image-editing software.

Users could scan photos, negatives and slides into their PC, then print them with the look and feel of real photos suitable for albums or framing. The PhotoSmart digital camera featured a removable, reusable 4MB compact flash card that captured up to 40 pictures.
