HP Supports Senate Democratic High-Tech Working Group Agenda

Statement by John Hassell, HP Director of Federal & State Government Affairs

For Immediate Release: May 19, 2005

“HP looks forward to working with Senators (Maria) Cantwell (D-WA) and (Ben) Nelson (D-NE) to press forward on the priorities of the High-Tech Working Group.

“HP is encouraged the Working Group’s agenda places a strong emphasis on maintaining innovation in today’s competitive global marketplace.

“Making R&D tax credits permanent, investing in the federal electronic health initiative and passing future trade agreements will strengthen our economy, create jobs and improve our quality of life.”
