Assistive Technology Industry Association 2011 Conference

ATIA serves as a leading forum for the Assistive Technology community to participate in presentations and discussions about new technology, practical applications, and services. Segments of the Assistive Technology industry are represented in various presentations, demonstrations and exhibits.

Life@50+, AARP's National Event and Expo, presents a unique opportunity for the nearly 90 million adults who are 50+ in America today to explore technology solutions and tips tailored specifically to their needs.

PVA National Veterans Wheelchair Games

HP will proudly serve as a National Sponsor of the 31st National Veterans Wheelchair Games. This multi-event sports and rehabilitation program is for military service Veterans who use wheelchairs for sports competition due to spinal cord injuries, amputations or certain neurological problems. Attracting more than 500 athletes each year, the National Veterans Wheelchair Games is the largest annual wheelchair sports event in the world.

CSUN 2011 International Conference

HP sponsored the California State University, Northridge Center on Disabilities (CSUN) Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference for several years. The next event is scheduled for February 27 – March 3, 2012 in San Diego, California.

The largest conference of its kind, it addresses technologies across all ages; disabilities; levels of education and training; employment; and independent living.

Disability Mentoring Day

Disability Mentoring Day (DMD) is sponsored by the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). The DMD program promotes career development for students and job seekers with disabilities.  As a global company, HP hosted DMD activities in America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions.
